ussell, the oldest child of Derek Tate & Maryanne Rumble, was born at Leeds, Yorkshire, on 16 August 1974. In 2002, Russel has married Vicky, and they have four children and aim to have another two. Russell is studying divinity and intends to go into the church, he is keen on computing and electronic devices.

oanne is the second child of Derek Tate & Maryanne Rumble. She was born at Huddersfield, Yorkshire, on 31 March 1977. In a 1989 letter to John Fall Maryanne said that Peta was very ill when she was born, having great problems in feeding, and almost died. Derek was told she would die, but Maryanne was not told.

In 2002 she is happily with her young daughter Hannah and living with her boyfriend, and seems extremely healthy to me (Mark R).

manda, the first child of Mark Rumble and Jane Flatt, was born on 10 May 1974 in England. In January 1991 her father reported that, at age 16, she had just taken her "GCSE" examination and that eventually she was hoping to take a Degree in fine arts. Artistic ability runs in the family. At age 28 she now is a registered nurse, her husband David Warren, is a pig farmer.

Her father paints in water colours. Her grandfather Joseph Rumble¹ also painted, while her great-grandfather Ernest Rumble² excelled in this art. The architectural drawings of her great-great-grandfather, Henry Euean Rumble³ were "absolutely superb." See architectural works on this disk.

arrel John was born on 16 March 1967 at North Fremantle, Western Australia. In 1968 he was legally adopted by John and Alison Baseden. He is single^H.

Darrel was a very active boy.

Life was difficult for him when his parents separated.

He spent a year at boarding school but did not like it.

As a boy Darrel was very active, enjoyed outdoor pursuits and had very many boy-friends. Like many children, he and his sister Michelle often quarrelled. Darrel was close to his father and so, after the separation of his parents, he found life difficult. At the age of thirteen or fourteen he went to live with his father for a while. Since his father had a new partner, this was not very successful, and Darrel was often left to himself. He went to Carine High School for about six months and to a boarding school. He did not like this and, after one year, refused to return.

He shared a flat with his sister Michelle.

When Michelle, at the age of eighteen, returned from a period in America, Darrel lived with her for a while in a flat. Later he went flatting with others.

In 1985 after his mother had been ill in hospital he lived with her for two years in the family home.

After his mother returned ill from America and spent some time in hospital, Darrel, who was then almost nineteen, lived with her in the family home for two years¹. As man of the house he was a great help to his mother. He had become a good cook, and he and his mother enjoyed card games and other home activities. Sometimes he livened up the house by bringing his mates along. Alison said that they established a good, loving friendship and that, without the care she received from him, she could never have returned to the family home.

He left school at the age of fourteen and worked for his father.

He became a ceiling fixer.

Always interested in boats

and their maintenance,

he moved into this area.

In 1993 he was skippering

tourist boats out of Cairns

in Queensland.

As a boy Darrel did not like school. Like his father, he left at the age of fourteen. He became interested in electronics but from a practical, rather than a theoretical aspect. When he left school he went to work initially for his father. Following his father's trade he became a ceiling fixer, eventually leaving his father and working for others.

From a young age, Darrel had always been interested in boats. Soon he was helping in the maintenance of small craft at Fremantle and, through this, had opportunity to take part in several yacht races up the coast of Western Australia. By 1993 he had moved to Cairns, Queensland, trained for and obtained his skipper's licence. He now skippers tourist boats out of Cairns.

eather, the first child of Dorothy and Fred Stanton, was born in Cheshire, England, on 26 October 1960. In 1968 she migrated to Western Australia with her parents. She completed her schooling at Perth Modern School and gained a psychology Degree and a Diploma of Education at the University of Western Australia. At the age of nineteen Heather married Ian Jones on 10 December 1979, but the marriage lasted only seven years when they agreed to separate in 1986, and were divorced in August 1992. She has not remarried, although she has entered into another relationship.

While waiting to obtain a job as a child guidance office she took a position with the Bureau of Statistics. Finally, against many other applicants, she gained a position with Australian Airlines in Melbourne in the staff development area. By 1991 she was well established in an enjoyable but demanding job that involved much travel.

avid, the son of John and Madge Clarke, was born in England on 4 July 1952. He served his apprenticeship as a butcher and also operated a mobile disco. He was a Queen's scout, and was enthusiastic about rally driving. David joined the travel industry and met Gaynor Stanton in Europe. He joined her in Australia and they married in 1982. By 1991 he was working in the liquor trade and he and Gaynor were living in Darlington.

aynor, the second child of Dorothy and Fred Stanton, was born in Cheshire, England, on 20 September 1962. In 1968 she migrated to Western Australia with her parents. Educated at Perth Modern School she worked first for the W.A. Building Society as a junior clerk. Here she obtained some experience with insurance, moved to Western Underwriters and then became Insurance Manager with Challenge Bank. While in Europe she met and later married David Clarke on 21 February 1982.

uliet Dawn, first Child of Ray and Shirley Welch, born Great Yarmouth 29 May 1960, married Mark Rumble at Gt Yarmouth 25^th June 2001. She is a pianist and organist; LRAM. She coached her nieceAlicia King, and played and transcribed the mucis that enabled Alicia to become young chorister of the year for the BBC 2001.

urora, the daughter of Isaac Oregel and Elena Barrios, was probably born in Guatemala. She married Carlos Juaréz, and they had four children. Although her husband was killed when the Guatemalan authorities searched for her son - who had fled to the United State of America, she never held this against Afro and wanted him to return home if there was a change in government. This he did briefly.

lexandra, the first child of Henry Knight and Rosemary Rowland, was born on 31 July 1972 in Hertford, Hertfordshire, England. In 1992 she was studying Accounting with French at the University of Kent. In 1990 she became interested in family history and researched the background of the Knight and Ho Chee families. In 1994 she was completing her studies at the University of Lyon, France.
